Welcome to Playball in Sevenoaks, an internationally recognised specialist sports programme for children aged 2-9 years old.
There are many children's sports programmes around but Playball is different in that we focus on the development of fine and gross motor skills needed for balance and co-ordination, while also focusing on the foundation skills that children need to bring into various different sporting disciplines.
Each programme is based over three terms throughout the school academic year and teaches age-appropriate skills to ensure the children develop at the right pace, physically, mentally and socially, in a fun and structured environment.
This ensures that the skills developed are appropriate for each age group, and that children enjoy every minute of being active!
Our collective goal is quite simply to teach sport properly, so that any child who attends any one of our five programmes will achieve a level of competence.
Our winning formula has benefitted tens of thousands of children who have themselves achieved competency through our specialist coaching, and have gone on to apply the fundamental skills they have learnt in a variety of sport.
Playball is nearly 30 years old and is an internationally recognised sports programme operating in 12 countries.
The five programmes have been specifically designed by a group of sports scientists therapists, teachers and psychologists and is constantly reviewed to ensure your children are gaining the most out of sport on a variety of levels...
Full programme details are available in your parent information pack.
Our action-packed lessons are limited to very small numbers to ensure maximum learning.
Each programme focuses on strengthening core stability and developing gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness and bilateral symmetry, which all influences performance in the school classroom too.
